I'm a computational biologist specializing in genomics and bioinformatics, with 10+ years of experience extracting biological insight from complex, large-scale datasets. I work across a broad range of data types — WGS, NGS panels, bulk RNA-seq, single-cell, and spatial transcriptomics — and bring genuine depth in both the statistics and the biology behind the data.

My background spans population genomics, phylogenomics, and translational omics, which means I've stayed methodologically flexible rather than specialized in one system. I've spent my career on problems without easy answers — the kind where the data conflicts, the right method doesn't exist yet, or the standard approach quietly breaks down. That's usually where I do my best work.

Currently at Boehringer Ingelheim, I work on multimodal omics data to support biomarker discovery and target prioritization across inflammatory and cardiometabolic disease areas. Before that, an NSF Postdoctoral Fellowship at Utah State University and a PhD at LSU developing statistical methods for genome-scale datasets.
